Supporting Employee Volunteers

Over the years, Verizon employees have volunteered significant amounts of time and service to help their neighbors. With support from the Verizon Foundation, our employees have:

  • Volunteered more than 6.8 million hours of service since 2000.
  • Helped fund more than 41,000 community groups.
  • Raised more than $3.8 million for Hurricane Sandy relief.

Domestic Violence Prevention

Since 2000, Verizon has provided more than $65 million in grants to domestic violence prevention organizations and shelters.
